She left me………
my doggie, Whity was with me for 5 years. A female from a pomeranian breed, was a sensitive, playful, cute doggie.
That breed usually adopted close to people. Lived along with the people in their living rooms. But my Whity’d to live in a cage instead. Because my dad doesn’t like dogs inside home.
So she was bit worried about that, always making noises to get our attention. Indeed I showed my love and affection towards her. And she received love from my family too.
But now she has gone away. She left us all and slept forever. She has been sick for several days. Even I couldn’t take care of her since me too had been hospitalized due to fever.
I still remember she keep her nose out from cage within metal mesh, and wagging her tail when ever she see me. Keeping her ears low and cuddling like a little snow bubble. Ohh god…….
how can I survive with these sweet memories? When ever I remind her it brings tears to my eyes and drop through my chin without even knowing.
I got some of her sweet memories captured. So I thought of sharing those with my readers.
It’s not that I need to fill my blog with dog photos. It’s just for my readers who love dogs and sad for my Whitys’ departure.
A return from Death…….
yes I caught with dengue for last week and I was in hospital for 5 days. Which is a strange week in my life, Lot of ups and downs in a row.
Well, this is not the 1st time I felt that “the life is not a bed of roses”, though it’s been awhile since I felt that before.
I got the news that I passed my semester final exam when I am in hospital. This was the 1st time I’ve been hospitalized. So it was a quite hard experience. Well I thought this might be my final destination, as I mentioned about it in my last post. But it’s not, for my goodness.
Anyway I feel that I returned from death, since Dengue is a deathly viral fever. But fortunately I was found in the early stage of the fever and I didn’t got any dangerous symptoms.
Thanks to the hospital staff and my parents, relations great care I recovered so fast.
After all it was a so close. And I am happy that I am back with my loved ones. And that I can serve the world some more time.
Thanks to all the fellows who wished me through twitter, facebook and who came to see me all the way to my home.
The Final Destination
yes I am talking about the movie The Final Destination 4. first of all I should admit that it’s a horrible movie to watch. I never thought that it’ll be so freaking that much.
Quite like the Dejavu movie.
it’s a movie which takes us to a far, deep imagination. It’s our destiny which decide everything. What ever we do, where ever we hide we can’t survive from death which brings us by fate. We gotta go when our time is up. No matter how rich we are, how much important we are to the world. Because our destiny don’t take those measurements into consideration.
This remind me of my friend, I was bit scared to travel in buses , when there was war here in SL. I was so aware of people and things when I was in a crowded place. But not my friend.
He told me, disregarding the fact that how much we cared or be aware of our safety, when the time comes we should go.
Well that is what I heard from Dhamma. Even if we hide in a steal cage, even if we hide in the middle of sea, even if we hide in a rocky mountain, still we can’t stop the death. No one’s immortal.
So we’d better get the most of what we have, forgetting the bitter past lets face to the future in optimistic way. Lets help the people who need help. Money not what we take after our death, to the next birth. If you believe in Rebirth , it’s our deeds. What we did through our life time.
Immortality is far beyond the topic, I don’t believe in immortality. Even I don’t think that scientists will invent medicine or theory for immortality. Even if they does, I don’t wanna continue this painful life so long.
We get what we deserved. So be happy for what we got. Live your life happy.
Morons and the superstition…
Sometimes I feel really bad for people who talk about things that they really not heard of. They are called morons. As I remember its been a while after I met my 1st moron in blogging who called her as Rehani girl, now who even blocked putting comments on her blog, really tell me what is the use of keeping a blog that don’t allow comments? Kind of weird.
Usually I don’t like to comment or argue with morons. But you know some times I feel odd for not replying them, then at next moment after replying I feel I was stupid.
(*click on the above link only if you can read sinhala, because that post is in sinhala.)
Buddhists around the world, reply me to this. He’s asking why Buddha told that women can’t attain Nirvana. But he’s loosing the fact that women can get rid of the life cycle even attain arahath. And well he’s not aware of the fact that no one can attain Nibbana within a single birth. It’s a result of long term process called“paramitha”. So if some one have completed attain the essential “paramitha” his/her next birth will be a male birth.
So that he can attain Nirvana in that birth.
He’s claiming to Buddhists that they don’t respect women’s . And Buddhists underestimate other religions saying they don’t respect women. It’s not like that. Buddhism is not just a Dhamma or a Religion. It’s a philosophy, the conventional truth of the world.
I feel so sad of those morons who trying to underestimate Buddha’s teachings, since even scientists couldn’t prove that it’s fake what Buddha taught.
Regardless of the fact that I am a Buddhist, I am a believer in Buddhism since it’s the truth. Even thousands of people do. Buddha taught not to believe his teachings if you found it impractical, so he taught us to research and find the truth. Well he did taught about the society, about the present society and about the future too.
It’s not necessary that you should be a Buddhist to believe Buddhism. Buddha taught that his teachings are the path to success, to stop the life cycle, the unstoppable pain and sufferings we undergo.
But of course any one can choose the path to hell cause there are two kinds of people in this world, simple as this..
who deserved the heaven and who deserved the hell.
Really why do people talk about things that they not aware of? Even they don’t like to read, research and know about the things they don’t know.
Dreamz
It is amazing. I see dreams at some nights. But mostly I can’t remember them when I get up next day morning. Some remain unsolved in my memory.
Some of them kind of weird.
But suddenly I get the question why?
Why do we see dreams? Even so weird that some are not even close to our life, our activities. So strange…..
May be they have some meaning . May be they are connected to our last birth. Well I don’t know exactly.
Sometimes I see people I know in dreams, there’s a folk story telling that seeing some person we know in dream is not good for us, I mean to the person who see the dream.
I don’t know whether it’s true or not. Anyway I don’t believe in them.
Telling you really frankly I am not afraid of dreams. But I remember I awake in the middle of night few times after I saw dream. Unfortunately I can’t remember them.
Anyway I never fell down from my bed
The most weird part is that when I awake in middle of a dream and sleep again, I again see the other part of the same dream. I don’t know how it happens. But believe me fellows it really happens
Hope you know about Lucid dreaming.
Kind of strange thing. Some times we do act as what we see in dreams, though we are sleeping. May be you experienced that by hitting your partner on bed while sleep, thinking that he/she is the thief that you saw in dream.
Read more about Lucid dreaming.
Regardless of how scary and strange it’s still we can have fun and laugh sharing our dreams with friends.
So better share them with some you love to do so if you remember them after you wakeup…..
It’ll be fun.
Warrior and a father……..
Don David Dahanayake (1916 February 22 – 1995 October 21)
This is my Grand Father.
A great warrior in second World War.
You might doubt why I am posting about my own Grand pa. Thinking that I am the best grand child ever… hell no.
It’s because of the fact that he was not just a Grand pa. He was a great man. Great dad and a great warrior.
Unfortunately I couldn’t be with him long, cause that great warrior left the world in 1995. when I was a child.
As my mom and my uncles/aunts(his other children) he was quite a strict for them, very calm .
And unfortunately there’s no much photographs of him in war except the above, which is sent by his friend in war field. And that also damaged lot (I really don’t know the reason. Might be cause of bad care or cause of the age of the photograph.)
There was a note written in back side of the photograph, copying it as it is,
“ from a man in the desert.”
as my Grand ma reveals he was served in Italy.
He was a great dad according to my uncles, they unwrap me some of their sweet memories which you might like to hear. So I am gonna tell you those…..
one day all of them(my mom, uncles and aunts) set fire to a barren paddy field (which is owned by another person) which is meant to be done because of their age and mischievousness.
And when that person came to complain that for my Grand pa he didn’t blame or hit them for doing that, instead he just paid the paddy owner and close the case. Because he knew it was the mischievousness cause to the case nor the wrath or cruelty.
And in one day they all planned cutting school and in the same evening he got to knew that and had hit them all, thats because he needed them to study well. As my uncles convey that the all punishments they had set unforgettable experience and advice towards their carrier.
And a another one.
Once my uncles had been gone to fishing in the lake in-front their home and get caught to Grand pa.
And he had hit them from the cane they used to fishing until the cane brake into pieces. You might insist that hitting children like that is cruel an inhuman. Well I’ve no idea on that. But as my Uncles say that they never went fishing again and that set good experience to them and they are still proud of my grand pa and me too, since I get my loving parents thanks to him and they are doing great because of the great advices he set on them.
Well I wanna say that he’s a great father and warrior and miss him lot in my life.
R.I.P Grand pa. I love you lot…
The intimate friend……

Yes. You are correct. This is my Dogiee. Called Whity. She’s 5 years old now.
When it comes to dogs, yes I am a dog lover. I love dogs. But not much cats.
Dog is really an intelligent animal who can understand us when it lives with us for long time.
It can identify its master/owner and respect the person who feeding it.
Best thing in dogs is if you feed them once they can remember and recognize you forever in their lifetime, not like some humans who forget who we are and what we did for them.
When ever we come close to them and show love they respect and show their love towards us by wagging their tails and lowering their ears. It touches my heart when they doing it.
No doubt that it does for all of us.
They will be with us in all our ups and downs, not like some people who leave us when we fell down, when we make mistakes. They’ll follow us where ever we go like our shadow wagging their tail.
They can be trained to do various things.
Some can be used for investigations
Well I found dogs so intelligent , cute and lovely.
The best friend of human beings since the ancient days.
So treat your dog better. Don’t try to hit them from hands or sticks, it might make them very angry , rude and dangerous even towards its master.
At least they wag their tail when they see me. Because they can remember that I helped them and showed love. It always make me feel better and make me happy staying with them when I am in depression and when I am worried, watching they play, the way they look at me.
What if they could speak??
I know one thing, that they will always be with me what ever happens.
Love your dog. It’s your true friend. No body is…..
If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, it will not bite you. This is the difference between a dog and a man “Mark Twain”
Why you should use LINUX over WINDOWS?
Let me explain you from few points.
COST
most Linux distros can be downloaded free on line or can be get to your doorstep delivered free.
We all know the fact that Windows Operating Systems should be purchased, which is high cost and not affordable specially for the people in developing countries. Even though still we can use pirated versions, thats illegal.
And why should we do illegal things since we can do same works legally?
Microsoft Windows has released several products.
the whole new one is Windows 7.
let me list some of free Linux destros you can download online
Linux Puppy -
etc…
besides you can get Ubuntu to your door step FREE…
EFFICIENCY
I am using Linux for more than 2 years now. Before that I used Windows. Why should I lie you? Yes I was a Windows User and And still using since our Uni using Windows softwares for assignments.(i am using a dual boot system) But I feel that Linux is great and smooth than Windows, since I can do everything I used to do in Windows in Linux so fast using FREE softwares. I admit for a new user it takes some time to get used to FOSS(Free And Open Source Software). But this is the era of communication and Technology. The world has become a one ICT village through globalization. There are thousands of sources you can learn to use free software.
SPEED
As I experienced my Linux kernel boot much faster than the Windows does.
Really am I kidding??
check this-
http://www.tuxradar.com/content/vista-windows-7-ubuntu-904-and-910-boot-speed-comparison
if u still cant believe me try install Linux to your machine.
Even it didn’t take much time to me to install Linux like the Windows did.
STABILITY
yes I really gotta say this, than the early Ubuntu distros the new releases works really good.
MS Windows release many bug patches to their OS continuously and try to get it more stable, instead it slows down the system because of heavy load.
check this,
http://davestechsupport.com/faq/is_ubuntu_more_stable.html
USER FRIENDLYNESS
yes even small child can start using Linux.
http://www.informationweek.com/news/hardware/desktop/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=171201349
may be you can argue that it’s hard and complex to use Linux OS and FOSS.
Actually we cant learn swimming without jumping to the pool.
So I did jump.
And now I can swim in the world of FOSS like a free fish…..
VIRUS FREE
Actually we can’t guarantee that Linux is Completely Virus free.
But if compared to Windows HELL YES….
since I don’t use virus guards to my Linux OS as I do in Windows, I still run Linux without any crash or hacking..
It’s obvious that the viruses run in windows don’t run in Linux platform.
Check this out..this may help you to clarify….
http://kerneltrap.org/node/14599
APPEARANCE
You might say that windows is the most beautiful, eye candy OS in the world,
well I don’t agree. Since you can modify your Linux OS as you wish without no cost.
And I prefer my Linux OS appearance more than windows(i use Linux Mint- one of most enchanting Linux distros ).
since you cant modify your Windows, you cant customize your appearance as you wish.
But in Linux you can modify the kernel and redistribute even in any name you wish under GNU GPL.
and yes there are so many reasons why YOU should choose LINUX over Windows…
simple.. It Rocks…..
use GNU Linux
use Firefox
use FOSS

Mini Biography
American superstar Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958, and entertained audiences nearly his entire life. His father, Joe Jackson, had been a guitarist but was forced to give up his musical ambitions following his marriage to Katherine (Scruse). Together they prodded their growing family’s musical interests at home. By the early 1960s, the older boys Jackie, Tito and Jermaine had begun performing around the city; by 1964, Michael and Marlon had joined in.
A musical prodigy, Michael’s singing and dancing talents were amazingly mature, and he soon became the dominant voice and focus of The Jackson 5. An opening act for such soul groups as the O-Jays and James Brown, it was Gladys Knight (not Diana Ross) who officially brought the group to Berry Gordy’s attention, and by 1969, the boys were producing back-to-back chart-busting hits as Motown artists (“I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “Never Can Say Goodbye,” “Got to Be There,” etc.). As a product of the 1970s, the boys emerged as one of the most accomplished black pop/soul vocal groups in music history, successfully evolving from a group like The Temptations to a disco phenomenon.
Solo success for Michael was inevitable, and by the 1980s, he had become infinitely more popular than his brotherly group. Record sales consistently orbited, culminating in the biggest-selling album of all time, “Thriller” in 1982. A TV natural, he ventured rather uneasily into films, such as playing the Scarecrow in The Wiz (1978), but had much better luck with elaborate music videos.
In the 1990s, the downside as an 1980s pop phenomenon began to rear itself. Michael grew terribly child-like and introverted by his peerless celebrity. A rather timorous, androgynous figure to begin with, his physical appearance began to change drastically, and his behavior grew alarmingly bizarre, making him a consistent target for scandal-making, despite his numerous charitable acts. Two brief marriages — one to Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley — were forged and two children produced by his second wife during that time, but the purposes behind them appeared image-oriented. Despite it all, Michael Jackson’s passion and artistry as a singer, dancer, writer and businessman are unparalleled, and it is these prodigious talents that will ultimately prevail over the extremely negative aspects of his seriously troubled adult life.
For it all to end on June 25, 2009, with his sudden death at age 50 of a drug-induced cardiac arrest, just as he was coming out of a four-year reclusive period and rehearsing for a sold-out London concert “comeback” in July, seems uncommonly cruel and tragic. Millions upon millions of dedicated fans will remember where they were “the day Michael died”.
